On August 30th, our Harvard Street center hosted an end-of-the-year Family Music Event. Families participated in singing and moving to songs alongside their children.

Mr. J from Arts for Learning seamlessly stepped in for Ms. Jen and encouraged family members to lead some activities. Our very own Vania Martins even volunteered to lead one of the rounds.

Many songs were sung by both children and families, including “Mi Cuerpo Hace Musica.” Children also practiced their counting and memory skills by replacing letters in the song “B-I-N-G-O” with shushes, counting all the way up to five.

After a short break in September, we are looking forward to resuming our weekly Arts for Learning classroom visits in October!
