What We Do
We Create A Nurturing Place To Learn
Nurtury prioritizes a child’s high-quality, holistic learning experience through a developmentally-appropriate play-based curriculum and hands-on teaching approach that promotes school readiness.
Our Center-Based Programs offers child care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in classroom settings at our three licensed centers located in Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and Cambridge. Our multicultural educators provide nurturing child care using a curriculum (Creative Curriculum) designed to meet children’s individual developmental needs and promote school readiness. We embrace playful learning with opportunities to meet individual and group needs through a broad range of learning activities such as music, cooking, science, play (indoor and outdoor), arts, early literacy, language, and games.
Family Child Cares are home-based, state-licensed programs which benefit families seeking a smaller and more intimate setting for the care of their children. They are a vibrant component of the early education field, and at Nurtury, predominantly owned by women of multicultural backgrounds. Children are introduced to curricula with a strong focus on school readiness which covers the five developmental areas, while offering linguistic and cultural diversity.
