On Thursday, May 11th, Nurtury held its' 3rd annual fundraiser, RISE- A Night for Nurtury. The event was hosted at its' flagship center - the Nurtury Learning Lab, located at 33 Bickford Street in the Mildred C. Hailey Apartments (formerly Bromley-Heath). Proceeds raised from the evening supported the goal of raising $1.4M annually to deliver much needed resources for our five early education centers and 120 family child care sites that would otherwise not be funded.
Nurtury President & CEO Wayne Ysaguirre said: "We are grateful to First Lady Lauren Baker for serving on the inaugural Honorary Committee for our 3rd annual A Night for Nurtury. Her support of our mission, being the place where kids and communities grow, is immeasurable."
First Lady Lauren Baker also visited the Nurtury Learning Lab last December as a part of Nurtury's- Be Our Guest -story hour.
